PD stands for Professional Dangerousness. Professional Dangerousness is a term coined by the late Tony Morrison (a researcher from the UK) to describe how human service workers practice in ways that cause inadvertent harm to the families they are working with. This occurs primarily due to lack of self+awareness in our work.
